Join Us : Volunteer
Parent volunteers are vital in creating a strong and supportive school community.
Volunteering supports teachers and staff and allows parents to actively contribute to school events and enrichment programs. Most importantly, parent involvement sets a powerful example of engagement, teamwork, and care that benefits the entire d.tech school community.
There are many opportunities for families to lend a hand, and we appreciate any support our families can provide. If possible, we ask that each family contribute 30 hours of volunteer time per school year. Opportunities include student orientation, school dances, fundraising gala, intersession, field trips, multicultural event, and more.
As a public school, we require several clearance documents that volunteers must provide/complete before they can volunteer at school. These requirements help ensure safety for students and you, our amazing and generous volunteers.

Become a Mentor
Over the course of four years, mentors enable students to experience a variety of educational experiences that broaden their world-view, shape their interests, and provide talking points. Perhaps the most lasting transferable skill that mentors bestow is self-confidence.
Roles for professional mentors include:
Career guest speakers
Mock interviewers
Job shadow contacts
Exploration course instructors
Athletics and robotics teams' coaches
Internship and Intersession design challenges
