Your Questions Answered About the Fundraising Gala
Q. What is the Fundraising Gala?
A. The Fundraising Gala is one of d.tech’s biggest fundraisers of the school year. It is a night for our parents, teachers, board members, and staff to come together to raise money for our students and teachers. It will include a cocktail reception, buffet dinner, professional auctioneer, a live auction with exclusive packages, a paddle raise, games, complimentary beverages all night long, and spirited games of bocce and bowling.
Q. I own a small business and would like to sponsor the event. Are sponsorships available?
A. Yes! There are a number of sponsorships available for businesses. Please CLICK HERE to learn more.
Q.What can I expect from the Live Auction?
A. The Live Auction will include exclusive packages available only to Fundraising Gala attendees. It will also include a Fund-A-Need appeal.
Q. When will tickets be available for purchase?
A. Early bird ticket sales will begin on December 2.
Q. Can I purchase tickets at the door?
A. Unfortunately, no. Tickets will only be sold online through March 1, 2027.
Q. I won’t be able to attend the event, but I want to participate in the live auction.
A. Live Auction packages will only be available to attendees. However, non-attendees will have the opportunity to make a Fund-A-Need donation.
Q. Can I volunteer at the event?
A. Yes! There are a number of available volunteer positions. Please review the list and sign up for the position that suits you best HERE.

About the Fundraising Gala
All proceeds from the Fundraising Gala & Live Auction support d.tech’s annual campaign, the Koi Pond Fund. The annual campaign provides critical funding, allowing our school to remain competitive among teacher salaries, sustain and strengthen its sports program, support ModelUN, Robotics, and student-led clubs, and keep the Design Realization Garage at a state-of-the-art level.
