d.tech Athletics

Design Tech High School is proud to offer a competitive sports program featuring 16 dynamic sports.

Our student athletes compete in the Private School Athletics League (PSAL), and in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) part of the Central Coast Section (CCS).

The Koi Pond Fund Supports the Sports Program

Design Tech is committed to building a strong sense of community and school spirit through its sports program, and the opportunity to join a sport is open to all students. However, our sports would not be possible without the generous support of our parent community via the Koi Pond Annual Fund.

Donations to the Koi Pond Annual Fund support the essential facilities necessary for each of our sports, including the soccer, baseball, and softball fields, swimming pool, and track and field venues. Additionally, contributions help fund equipment, coaches' stipends, and officials and league fees. Our annual ask per family is $1,800 but all donations are greatly appreciated and make a difference. Sports Uniform Support

A separate uniform donation of $160 is requested from all families, per sport, per student. Whereas the Koi Pond Fund is a donation made to the annual campaign, the uniform donation is used only for uniform upkeep. Each year, our program leaders determine uniform upgrades and necessary replacements to maintain a consistent appearance across all teams. The sports program also provides practice shirts for all student athletes.
