Why will you run, trot, or walk?

Whether it’s because your student is committed to sports, leading a unique club, believes in the mission of the Model UN program, can’t wait to get back to the DRG, or simply loves their teachers, every student and family has a reason to support the d.tech annual fund. The Koi Pond Fund raises money throughout the year to ensure that every student has access to an excellent education and the highest-quality teachers.

  • Official race-day T-shirts are available for purchase for $25, with a $10 donation included.

Q. Who is this fundraiser for?
A. This event is first and foremost a fundraiser for our school and an easy way for every family at d.tech to participate. 

Q. How can I participate?
A. Purchase a T-shirt for every member of your family by clicking HERE. $10 of every purchase goes to supporting the Koi Pond Fund. 

Q. How else can I support this event?
A. Have your child create and share a fundraising page today by clicking HERE. Our goal is to collectively raise $50,000, and we can only do this with the community’s support.

Q. Will there be an actual race day?
A. This event is virtual, which means you choose your location during the weekend of November 7-10.

Q. When will I get my T-shirts?
A
. T-shirts will be available for pickup at d.tech on November 5, 6, and 7. Join us on November 7 at 8:45am for the Kickoff Celebration on the back patio.

Prizes for Fundraising

Students can enter the drawing to win a Great America Season Pass — valid for ANY Six Flags park and good through the end of 2026!

There are two ways that students can be entered into the drawing for their grade:

  1. Purchase a race day T-shirt - Click HERE to purchase!

    Your race day T-shirt automatically includes a $10 donation! Students will receive one ticket into the drawing for every T-shirt purchased.

  2. Fundraise

    Create and share a fundraising page! Students will earn one ticket into the drawing for every $100 donation (or more) made on their fundraising page. The more donations received, the better the odds for winning!

Drawing
There will be four student drawings — one winner per grade. The drawing will take place on Friday, November 14, and winning students will be notified by email.

Grade-Level Grand Prize
Even if students do not win the individual grand prize, they still have a chance to help their grade be the grade-level winners. The grade with the most donations will win a donut party on Friday, November 14! You can see how your grade is doing by clicking HERE.

Race Day Leaderboard

After your race, be sure to enter your race time for your 5K or your 10K run, trot or walk. Names and race times will be posted on our website for those interested in seeing how they fared against others. No prizes will be awarded for race time, but the top runners will walk away with legendary bragging rights.
