
Virtual 5K/10K
What is a Virtual Race?
Grab your friends and family and make a plan to participate in the Virtual 5K or 10K Run, Trot, or Walk Fundraising Event, taking place November 7-10, at the time and location of your choice. Participants are encouraged to create a fundraising page and then share it with friends and family to garner support for their individual run, trot, or walk. Prizes will be awarded for fundraising.
Our goal is to raise $50,000. Together, we can do this!
After the race weekend, names and race times will be posted on our website for those interested in seeing how they fared against others. No prizes will be awarded for race time, but the winner will walk away with legendary bragging rights. Race time can be recorded (on the honor system), using the form located in the drop-down on the right side of this page.

Official race day T-shirts are available for purchase for $25, with $10 being an automatic donation to our event.

We want to see your photos from the start, middle and end of your race, trot or walk. Send all your photos to virtualrace@dtechhs.org.
Our goal for this event is to raise $50,000 for our students and teachers.

Prizes for Fundraising
Four prizes will be awarded - one per grade.
There are two ways to be entered into the drawing for your grade:
Purchase a race day T-shirt - link coming soon!
Your race day T-shirt automatically includes a $10 donation! Students will receive 1 ticket into the drawing for every T-shirt purchased for d.tech students.
Fundraise
Create and share a fundraising page! Students will receive one ticket into the drawing for every $10 donation (or more) that they receive on their fundraising page. The more donations received, the better the odds for winning!
