General Information

2025 Graduation Information 

Graduation will be held at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center (SMPAC).

600 N Delaware St, San Mateo, CA 94401 on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 3:00-4:30 pm

Important Dates: 

Graduation Arrival for Seniors: 12:00 pm at SMPAC

Graduation Ceremony Doors Open: 2:30 pm at SMPAC

Tickets:

Each student is allowed 5 guest tickets, the graduate does not need a ticket. Please only request what is needed. We will have a lottery for anyone requesting up to 5 additional seats. All seated guests must have a ticket. We will have a check-in desk upon arrival to the ceremony and if you have reserved accessible seating we will have your seats reserved in this area with your name on the chair.  All families must check in upon arrival and aside from reserved seating and accessible reserved seating it is open seating. The seating will be first come first serve and all members of the party must be in attendance–no saving seats.

Speakers: 

There will be 2-3 student speakers. Tryouts will be the first week of May. Stay tuned for more information in advisory. 

Cap and Gowns:

Cap and Gown will be ordered in April.

CAP DECORATING RULES:

All school rules apply: keep it educationally appropriate - no bad language, no references to inappropriate things, etc.

Maintain the shape & color of the cap - Decorate the top only (decorations should not be noticeable from the front); Nothing 3-D that is higher than ½ inch, and nothing hanging from the side, except for the tassel.

DO NOT IRON ON HIGH HEAT, STEAMING IS RECOMMENDED FOR WRINKLES ( dtech is not responsible for damages from ironing).

Parking:

Ample Parking will be located at the Event Center.

Professional Photographs & Video Recording:

Professional photographs are taken during graduation, and the ceremony will be recorded professionally. All photos and video will be shared with the community after the event.

Dress Code & Behavior:

Please be mindful of the people behind you, don't bring visual obstructions.

Out of respect for all families and graduating seniors: no air horns, noise makers, boom boxes or other disruptive sounds or behaviors.
