d.tech seeks partners in our community to mentor students, volunteer time, initiate projects, and invest in our school.

become a Professional Mentor and be a part of the learning process at d.tech

Over the course of four years, mentors enable students to experience a variety of educational experiences that broaden their world-view, shape their interests, and provide talking points as they approach postgraduate life. Perhaps the most lasting transferable skill that mentors bestow is self-confidence.

professional mentoring opportunities include:

  • d.tech Career Exploration Series

  • Exploration courses & Design Challenges

  • Coaching athletics and the robotics team

  • Presentation of Learning Feedback

  • Opening up studios & internships

If you would like to become a professional mentor, contact us with more information about your interest.

invest in our school

If you are a technology firm in Silicon Valley who would like to invest in our school campus either in Redwood City or Rancho Cordova, please reach out to Executive Director Ken Montgomery.

suggest a community project that d.tech students can get involved in

d.tech students learn to be agents of change, and their solution-finding skills become a vehicle to give-back to our local community.

d.tech students have:

  • made the reception area of Samaritan House warm and inviting for small children
