Who Can Register for the Lottery
d.tech is a free public charter school that values diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic level, sexual orientation, physical ability, family structure and religion, and it encourages all students who believe that d.tech's innovative program might be a great fit for their high school years to register for the lottery.
Process and Rules
Current California residents are eligible to register for the March 2 lottery for an opportunity to enroll at d.tech. Applicants must submit a complete registration before the deadline of February 28, 2018, and be able to provide three proofs of CA residency upon enrollment if they live outside the San Mateo or Sequoia Union High School Districts.
Those who reside in the San Mateo or Sequoia Union High School District must complete address verification at the district office no later than February 28 - using the same address as on the d.tech lottery registration. This is a prerequisite to have their priority lottery weighting verified. We strongly encourage families to complete this process by mid-February.
Submitting the registration includes signing a statement of honesty. Offers of enrollment are rescinded if information on the registration is found to be false at any time.
